The gadget comes in a black box with a minimalist design. On the bottom side there is detailed information about the device. The package opens like a box, and inside we find the smart watch itself, wireless magnetic charging, instructions and a protective film for the screen.

The watch is protected on both sides by transport film, and a strong, massive box completely eliminates damage to the gadget during transportation.

The magnetic charger has a compact body and a non-removable cable 60 cm long.

Excerpts from the manual Gear GT3 comes in two colors - silver and black, with several strap options. The gadget looks strict, such a design will be appropriate with any style of clothing, from sports to a classic suit.

The gadget is relatively large — the case diameter excluding controls and strap fastenings is 47.8 mm, the case thickness is 13.2 mm. At the same time, the watch looks good on a medium-sized hand and does not cause discomfort when worn around the clock. The watch case is metallic, semi-matte, the color is closer to graphite, fingerprints and small dirt are not noticeable on it.

On the front side of the gadget there is a round 1.43" AMOLED screen with flat glass. The bezel protrudes above the display, which has a positive effect on the protection of the latter.

And here we should mention one feature of the new product - the bezel here is movable, and is a control organ that works together with the crown. We turn the bezel - the crown rotates, and vice versa.

On the right side of the case is the crown, which processes both pressing and rotation. Next to it is the quick access button for applications. Below is the microphone hole. On the right you can see only the speaker grill.

The back cover is plastic, with a protruding island of sensors, which also ensures centering during charging.

The strap has standard 22mm quick release pins and a magnetic clasp - it took a bit of time to get it to fit my hand, but the buckle was very comfortable to use.

Application

To use the watch, you need to download the KUMI Sports application.

The program interface is intuitive, the translation quality is a solid four, there are no problems with using it. The interface consists of 4 tabs: the main one displays general information about physical activity and health, the second one opens access to sports modes, the third one - settings and interaction with the gadget, the last one - settings of the application itself.

On the home page, all graphics are clickable, and here you can see detailed data from sensors for different periods of time.

The training tab has 4 sports modes, and the watch interface has 111. Detailed data with GPS tracks is also stored here, and personal “records” are ranked.

On the third tab, you can change the watch face, configure applications to display notifications, set reminders and alarms, synchronize contacts, and many other functions.

The integration of neural networks deserves special mention — the watch has a voice assistant with ChatGPT, which will find an answer to any user question. If the user does not find one to his taste from the entire set of available dials, he can create his own using backgrounds generated by the neural network. The built-in voice translator supports 10 languages, understands English speech quite well, but Russian speech recognition has not yet been added.

Functions and interface

Pressing the crown opens the main menu, or returns back. Double-clicking on the main menu changes its display style - list, carousel, etc.

Next to it is a button for opening the quick access menu. A single click by default opens sports modes, a double click opens shortcut editing. A long press opens ChatGPT.

Swipe left to open the quick access menu, by default it has physical activity, weather and ChatGPT tools. The menu is customizable, long pressing on an element opens the customization menu.

Swiping to the right will open a side menu containing the most recently used functions, date and time, access to the QR code for pairing with a smartphone, and the weather.

At 12 o'clock, various notifications periodically appear: a red flickering circle - unread notifications, a crescent moon with ZzZzz, meaning it's time for bed, a robot asking to charge the gadget and other reminders.

Application notifications are available in the top curtain, by pulling down you can open the "control center" with settings such as silent mode, battery life, screen lock, brightness, etc.

The watch has a convenient way to view notifications - they are grouped by applications. You can not only receive calls via Bluetooth, but also synchronize your favorite contacts with the watch, or simply dial a number directly from the watch and call without taking the phone out of your pocket or backpack. The microphone sensitivity is high, the speaker is loud enough.

You can save e-books, voice recordings or music tracks in the gadget’s built-in memory, and the player can work in the background:

There is also a dedicated app store available, although the selection is still quite small. For now, there are a few office programs and games, including a simple variation of the once popular Fruit Ninja.

In shutter control mode, the image from the camera is displayed on the watch screen in real time.

Wireless charging with magnetic fixation holds the gadget securely.

On a single charge, the watch will work for up to 10 days with normal use, and up to 25 days in power saving mode, but the connection with the smartphone is broken.

Conclusion

Gear GT3 is one of the top devices from KUMI. The watch does not have built-in GPS and offline maps, but this is compensated by similar functions of the application. But the gadget has good autonomy, a high-quality display, high protection class IP68 and integration with neural networks. Separately, it is worth mentioning the control from the bezel and crown, as well as the transmission of images from the camera.
